Neither cross-country skiers nor downhill enthusiasts will leave the northeastern town of Stowe disappointed when snow falls, though this region is equally popular come summer with hikers and paddlers.
The Stowe Theatre Guild is a non-profit volunteer community theatre organization, pledged to offer the best local theatre experience in New England and offering diverse, quality productions in a premier facility. For over 50 years, Stowe Theatre's mission has included drawing from and giving back to the community. Summer 2008 productions include the musicals Annie! and Bat Boy, the Pulitzer-prize winning drama, A Delicate Balance, and a new comedy by a Vermont playwright, Pronouncing Glenn.
