Description
When customers open the door at Peltier's Market in VT's tiny village of Dorset, it creaks and groans convincingly as if to remind them that countless others have pushed through it before them. The market has stood beside Dorset's Village Common long enough to attract a great many shoppers. With its crisp white clapboard walls, pitched roof, dark green shutters and bright canvas awnings, Peltier's seems too old and too pretty to be a business. It's hard not to think of it as some sort of museum.
