The mountaintop picnic area offers spectacular views of the lake, valley, and mountains to the west. An enclosed picnic shelter is available for large group gatherings. Hiking trails lead from the summit to the base. Swimming is available at Kingsland Bay State Park 6 miles away or Button Bay State Park 15 miles away. There is boating, fishing, and sailing in nearby Lake Champlain.
