Ski resorts set the scene for the mountains around the town of Killington in winter, though venture to these parts outside of peak season and find also pleasant hiking trails, well-groomed golf greens and a handful of rural attractions.
The Kellogg-Hubbard Library was established in 1896 in a stately granite building as a free independent library. The library currently serves six towns for free, Montpelier, East Montpelier, Worcester, Calais, Berlin, and Middlesex. People from other towns may purchase an annual membership. More than 700 people use the library each day.
