Ski resorts set the scene for the mountains around the town of Killington in winter, though venture to these parts outside of peak season and find also pleasant hiking trails, well-groomed golf greens and a handful of rural attractions.
The Bonnyvale Environmental Education Center (BEEC) is southeastern Vermont's leading outdoor education center, providing science-based school programs and youth camps for children in grades pre-K through 8, and family-oriented environmental conservation and recreation initiatives. BEEC's facility includes 100 acres of mature forests, open pasture lands, hiking trails, sweeping hilltop views, and a beautiful rural setting 10 minutes from downtown Brattleboro. Hiking trails are open to the public free of charge from dawn until dusk. Maps and field guides are available.
We offer a compact version of Go-Vermont for mobile users, allowing you to access just the information you need on the road. Of course, you can still use the full version of Go-Vermont on your mobile device just as you can on your desktop.
