Description

In the snowy climes of northern Vermont it should come as no surprise to find a facility dedicated to skiing nor to the sport's most famous faces. In the little village of Stowe, the Vermont Ski Museum does just that. Housed in the historic Old Town Hall, this museum is all about life on Vermont's slopes, from the growing popularity of skiing in the 1930's to every novice skier's favorite technique, the "snowplow". Learn about the Swiss Method, Olympic medalists and get the scoop on ski making over the decades at this snow-oriented facility before applying some of your newly acquired knowledge to nearby fresh powder.
